There are many options available today to continue your education. You have technical schools, community colleges, universities and post-graduate programs. You also have a whole new world available to you via the internet. There are so many teaching and learning tools online that can help you expand your knowledge-base. If you have the resources (money& time), and your career plans require an advanced degree, you may need to attend a conventional post-secondary institution.
That not withstanding, here are some learning sites that you can visit to expand your education and experience (not in any particular order).
Social Media Sites (Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, etc.)
Only YouTube offers video learning exclusively. Many have channels dedicated to this endeavor. An example would be The Khan Academy on YouTube. Here you will find a collection of over 2,500 videos in a variety of topics. If you are a visual learner, and many of us are, this will be a great place for you.
I’m sure you could add to this list and have hundreds if not thousands of websites. The intent here is to coax those on the sidelines to take back some of those hours spend in front of the boob tube (70’s slang for television set, so get your mind out of the gutter) and those who spend an equal amount of time endlessly searching the web.
In either case, you could benefit greatly by expanding your learning and increasing your knowledge-base. Your clients will appreciate your contributions in the areas where you become a better vendor to them. They hired you for your expertise. Share with them your commitment to learning. As always, we hope this helps you learn to market naturally.
